In interior design, paint has become a decorative element in its own right, capable of defining a style, creating an atmosphere, and structuring an interior. Through color, finish, and texture, it plays a key role in setting the scene for any space.

LuminoKrom® launches its range of interior decoration paints

A range of photoluminescent paints 100% dedicated to interior decoration

LuminoKrom® is opening a new chapter in its development with the launch of its very first range entirely dedicated to interior design. Designed for artists, interior designers, decorative painters, and demanding specifiers, this collection combines contemporary aesthetics with advanced photoluminescent technology.

During the day, each shade reveals a strong decorative identity—mineral, vegetal, airy, or warm—perfectly suited to residential and professional spaces. At nightfall, the painted surfaces reveal a subtle and immersive green luminescence, without electricity, transforming the walls into true elements of ambiance.

With this new range, LuminoKrom® extends its technological expertise to the field of design and offers a unique approach: a decorative paint capable of changing between natural light and darkness.

A technical range designed for interior design

Formulated with water-based acrylic resin with very low VOC content, the LuminoKrom® decorative range is exclusively intended for interior wall applications (drywall, prepared surfaces). It is applied in two coats with a roller or brush, is ready to use, has good washability and a comfortable open time (2 hours), making it easy to apply.

The collection is available in eight contemporary shades:

  • Greige, Pistachio, Sky Blue, Sunset, Sand, Oat, Almond Green, White

Each color offers consistent performance during the day and photoluminescent properties suitable for interior decorative applications, with luminescence visible for up to 6 to 9 hours depending on the shade.

Color as the foundation of the decorative project

Today, a decorating project often begins with the choice of a color, a palette, or a color chart.
Just as one would select a fabric, wallpaper, or piece of furniture, paint is chosen with a specific intention in mind.

It sets the tone, inspires the materials, and shapes the overall atmosphere.

Light colors visually enlarge the space and diffuse light.

A warm palette will complement raw materials such as wood or linen.

A more contemporary shade will go well with minimalist lines and graphic lighting.

But its role goes beyond aesthetics : paint structures the space.

It can visually delineate an area without partitioning it, emphasize ceiling height, create contrast, or completely transform a room without requiring major work.

It then becomes the visual signature of an interior, ensuring consistency and balance throughout the decorative project.

Practical application: designing a restaurant dining room

In public spaces as well as private or residential environments, paint plays a decisive role in creating an immersive atmosphere.

Among these spaces, restaurants are a particularly telling example. Unlike offices or coworking spaces, where paint is mainly used to promote concentration or creativity, in a restaurant, paint fully reflects the identity of the place and the customer experience.

The colors chosen can evoke warmth and conviviality, refinement, exoticism, or modernity, in line with the proposed concept.

It also helps to structure the space : reception area, main dining room, intimate corner, or bar, while creating a coherent and engaging atmosphere. In this example, the restaurant is a place where paint becomes a real tool for sensory experience and staging.

Combined with a well-designed space, carefully selected materials, and consistent furniture, paint reinforces the concept of the place and leaves a lasting impression. It becomes a strategic element of differentiation and attractiveness.
