Successful first test of LuminoKrom® for urban and decorative coatings

In July 2025, Armenia-based Dominant Story LLC carried out an initial experiment to integrate our LuminoKrom® water-based photoluminescent paint into exterior cladding elements.

The project involved applying our paint to concrete paving stones intended for integration into urban, pedestrian or decorative spaces. The geometric patterns thus created become luminous after dark, without any external energy source, simply by virtue of their prior exposure to natural or artificial light.

The aim of the test was to demonstrate the benefits of LuminoKrom® for pedestrian safety in unlit areas, to embellish urban or private landscapes (squares, courtyards, galleries) and to create visual landmarks or innovative aesthetic effects.

Promising applications combining aesthetics and performance

More than a simple test, this first application highlights the concrete advantages of photoluminescent beaconing integrated into the ground, with a striking decorative effect, featuring luminous lines with a strong graphic effect. It's an eco-responsible solution, requiring no cables or power supply, and easy to install, thanks to the compatibility of our paint with a variety of substrates.

Dominant Story LLC now plans to offer this solution to its customers, whether for urban planning projects, interior decoration, or to secure pathways in low-light areas such as gardens, paths or technical areas.
