LuminoKrom® luminescent paint used in the town of Revel
LuminoKrom® luminescent paint has just been applied in the town of Revel.
The commune of Revel undertook an ambitious project to transform a former SNCF railway line into a luminescent greenway, which was completed in April 2024. The project is part of an initiative to enhance public spaces and promote soft mobility. Located in the Boulodrome area, this new green lane has T’1 axial markings to guide users along its path.
Our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking was chosen for its unique luminescent properties, which absorb daylight and release it again at night, providing improved visibility and safety for users. The aim is to make this route attractive and safe at all times, encouraging walking, cycling and other recreational activities on a continuous basis, even after sunset.
This initiative illustrates the Commune of Revel’s commitment to sustainable development and improving the quality of life of its residents. It also demonstrates the town’s ability to rethink and reuse its disused infrastructure to adapt it to the contemporary needs of its residents.
