LuminoKrom® industrial phosphorescent paint applied to the EDF sign at one of its thermal power stations.

As part of its drive to improve visibility and safety at its industrial sites, EDF opted for our luminescent marking at its thermal power station in Martigues. The industrial site applied our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint to its EDF logo sign. This choice is part of an approach to sustainability and environmental responsibility, key features of EDF’s new direction.

LuminoKrom® paint, renowned for its ability to capture and store daylight, provides long-lasting luminosity in the dark, reducing the need for artificial lighting. This represents not only a significant reduction in energy consumption, but also an improvement in safety thanks to the enhanced visibility of installations at night.

The application of this technology to the EDF sign in Martigues symbolises the company’s commitment to innovation and energy efficiency. It literally highlights EDF’s leading role in the energy sector, while ensuring the harmonious and aesthetic integration of its installations into the night-time environment.

This is the second time LuminoKrom® paint has been used for an illuminated sign, the first being a Crédit Agricole sign.
