Landai/Surau, new application of LuminoKrom® phosphorescent marking at Kedah

At the end of 2023, our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking technology was applied on the Jln Kg Landai/Kg Surau road, Sik, under the supervision of JKR Sik. This innovative project included discontinuous axial road markings as well as edge markings, all carried out by the applicator AHN VERTEX.

LuminoKrom® is a photoluminescent paint that absorbs natural or artificial light during the day and releases it as visible light at night. This technology considerably improves the visibility of road markings, increasing road user safety, especially in low-light conditions.

This project on Jln Kg Landai/Kg Surau highlights the benefits of photoluminescence in improving road safety in Malaysia. The initiative illustrates how technological innovation can be integrated into existing local infrastructure to provide safer roads at night.
