Our LuminoKrom® phosphorescent marking used to create a pedestrian walkway to make access to Cessieu station safer.

 

There are frequent power cuts at stations in this geographical area (either from Enedis or due to the poor state of the network). Stations are far from lit urban areas and are therefore in darkness. Trains are unable to stop and disembark passengers, as traffic around the platforms becomes too dangerous. The SNCF is forced to reroute trains to other stations and reroute passengers by bus.

The application of a LuminoKrom® white strip was juxtaposed to the existing strip in order to comply with the regulatory markings.

Type of project: Photoluminescent marking in the form of strips on the platform edges and at track crossings to ensure safe access to the station for passengers in the event of a power cut.
