LuminoKrom®, the best-performing luminescent paint

10-hour luminescent road marking

LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint is charged by natural or artificial light and glows in the dark for 10 hours, without the need for a power supply or CO2 emissions.

The performance of LuminoKrom® paint has been tried and tested... Numerous projects have been carried out around the world for over 6 years. Whatever the environment, monitoring of the properties has demonstrated perfect stability of the lighting process. In the dark, the paint continues to glow, even in undergrowth, whatever the weather or summer/winter cycles...

Today, many local authorities and infrastructure managers have chosen our luminescent paint for their landscaping projects. Cycle paths, pedestrian walkways, roundabouts and pavements have all been laid with our phosphorescent product. As soon as the sun goes down and the lack of light is felt, the paint becomes luminous, transforming itself into a real 'fluorescent' guide for road users.

Application peinture routière luminokrom

  • "How do you make a cycle path visible without street lighting? Quite simply by opting for photoluminescent marking, which absorbs light during the day and lights up all night without the need for electricity. Montpellier has been testing LuminoKrom photoluminescent paint for over 2 years. Tested and approved! (Source Linkedin)

  • « Now that it exists, people are less apprehensive about taking their bike to get around, even in the evening, because they know they can find their way easily thanks to the markings. »

    Jean-Luc
    President of the Angerville Cycloclub
  • « Conventional street lighting is very expensive to install and maintain. Photoluminescent markings are more suitable, also because they do not add to light pollution. »

    Sophie Rigault
Cepartmental councillor in charge of mobility
  • "This stretch of road was notorious for accidents, with many people falling off their bikes in this sector. We had several solutions, including street lighting or LED ground lighting. We opted for this innovative solution. That's why we chose it for our experiment. It's a soft light, which doesn't generate light pollution, but which allows simple guidance in places plunged into darkness." (Source: France Bleu)

    Philippe Scheibling
Head of Colmar public roads department
  • « The luminescent markings on the cycle path between Saint-Apollinaire and Varois et Chaignot are a welcome initiative. It will enable cyclists to use the cycle path even at night, particularly in winter when it gets dark quickly. The luminescent markings will also make the cycle path more attractive and, above all, safer, which is the most important factor in making it easier for cyclists to use. »

    Patrice Hanin
Volunteer Collectif Pour les Voies Vertes de l'Est Dijonnais
  • « It's more reassuring, especially when you're coming home quite late. It stands out clearly against the ground, giving good guidance on the cycle path. The quality of the paintwork is really impressive. »
